Sam Darnold is the most well-rounded prospect of the class. His sophomore season was outstanding, considering his age and that he didn't play as a freshman. Since 2000, only Marcus Mariota and Deshaun Watson had more efficient seasons at a younger age. Darnold's biggest weakness is his turnover rate, but it's not high enough to a red flag for me. If you lean heavily towards either analytics or tape, Darnold may not be your top QB in the class. But he's top 2 or 3 for nearly everyone. He's my top QB in the class from an NFL perspective. In dynasty leagues, I can make a case for Mayfield and Jackson, and what happens Thursday night will shape how those guys land. From a redraft lens, he was efficient and mobile enough in college for me to translate to the pros relatively quickly. However, given his historical youth coming into the draft, he won't likely shine in fantasy right away.
